BREAKING THE CYCLE: Exploring the Role of Stress in Escalating or De-escalating Conflict in School
When
20 Mar 2014
8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Location
SERESC, 29 Commerce Drive, Bedford NH
On this day-long workshop participants will explore the principles of the Conflict Cycle and the basics of Life Space Crisis Interventions (LSCI). Participants will strengthen their understanding of how self-concept and stress influence behavior-children’s behavior and our own. Through stories, discussions, videos, learning activities and materials, LSCI Senior Trainer and NH CEBIS consultant, Eric Mann, will provide you with tools to leave the day with a greater understanding of children, of self, and of ways to think differently about how to effectively prevent and respond to challenging behavior. Participants in this day should expect to explore the different psychological worlds of children and adults and, in the process, discover practical strategies to improve behavioral output by enhancing stress awareness and improving stress management.
Cost :
$150 covers all materials, breakfast and lunch
